Q. How long has CWUK been trading?

A. Barry has been valeting cars for 17 years and finally set up CWUK in 2004.

Q. What is the benefit of valeting?

A. Appearance counts. There are many benefits, not least it can make your car smell clean and fresh but just as you would service the engine in your car, proper exterior care can enhance its value, so a valet is a must if you are selling your vehicle.

Q. What vehicles do you valet?

A. We specialise in cars, 4x4s, MPV's & executive vehicles. If it's got wheels. We will consider it!

Q. How far in advance do I need to book?

A. As far as possible, at times it has been known for us to book six weeks in advance but call and we may be able to fit you in at short notice if there has been a cancellation.

Q. Is my car insured while you work on it?

A. Yes, unlike a lot of our competitors we are fully insured. We also carry third party liability insurance (£1,000,000) and are comprehensively insured to drive your vehicle if necessary.

Q. Can you work in any weather?

A. Absolutely no problem. Why not ask us to collect your vehicle and you don't even have to get wet. Even our wash bay is covered, so the weather really doesn't hinder us at all.

Q. When can you valet my vehicle?

A. We operate Monday to Saturday 7.30-17.30 and our telephone lines are always open from 7.30 - 18.00.

Q. How long will it take to clean my car?

A. It depends on the level of service you require, however a Mini Valet will take about 30 minutes dependant on your vehicle condition and a Full Valet about 2-4 Hours depending on the size of your car and how dirty it is.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?

A. We currently accept cash, a cheque, VISA and MasterCard, Switch and Maestro. We also are members of Bartercard, but speak to Barry first before assuming you can use your Bartercard.

Q. Will you have to drive my car?

A. If you drop the car off to us, we will have to move the car in to the valeting bay, but don't worry, we are comprehensively insured.

Q. Just how cheap is your retail counter?

A. You will have to come and see! Typically we are pounds, not pence cheaper than Halfords.
